Bundesliga top scorers since 2000

2000/01 to 2025/26 · Top 20

Robert Lewandowski scored 312 Bundesliga goals across twelve seasons at Dortmund and Bayern Munich, and is 125 clear of the man in second. That second man is Claudio Pizarro, who scored 187 of them across twenty seasons and is the more remarkable entry of the two.

The top twenty from 2000/01 onward, which is where this dataset's German coverage starts. As with the other continental lists, treat it as a record of the last twenty-five seasons.

Covers 2000/01 to 2025/26, from the same player database the games are built on. Figures as of 2026-05-27. That start date is where this dataset's coverage of the league begins, not where the league does — so this is a record of those seasons rather than an all-time table.

Just outside. The next five are Nils Petersen (89), Anthony Modeste (85), Franck Ribéry (85), Lars Stindl (85) and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (84).

What the table shows

It is the most Bayern-heavy of the four league tables and simultaneously the one with the most surprising middle. Andrej Kramarić is seventh with 140 goals for Hoffenheim, Stefan Kießling sixth on 144 mostly for Leverkusen, and Alexander Meier is on the list for a career spent almost entirely at Eintracht Frankfurt. None of the three ever played for the champions.

Pizarro is the entry worth pausing on. Twenty Bundesliga seasons across Werder Bremen, Bayern and Köln, still scoring at forty, and second on a list headed by one of the most prolific forwards in the sport's history. Longevity does not usually compete with peak output; here it very nearly does.

The top two rows come free. Rows twelve to twenty are the round.
