Played for All shows you a set of club badges and asks the connoisseur's question: who played for all of them? Not the stars — the connective tissue of football. The full-back who did Villa, West Ham and Everton; the striker whose career quietly touched four rivals. Every correct name fills a slot, and there are usually more of them than you'd think.
It rewards a very particular kind of memory — not who was best, but who was *there*. Wrong guesses are free, so the game is a long, happy dredge through loan spells and September transfer deadlines, and a hint will prise open a slot when the dredging stops producing.
Fair warning: this is the game most likely to end with someone at the table shouting a name from 2009 an hour after you've all gone home.
